Naruse and his wife start living together because they are worried about their father-in-law, Saburo, who lives alone. Kokomi was honestly happy to live together and loved Saburo like a real father, but her husband, Kazuaki, did not think well of her living with Saburo, who had been playing around without caring for his family in the past. The constant arguments with Kazuaki leave Kokomi feeling sad all by herself.
