Tsuchiya’s small factory goes bankrupt, his home is seized, and his wife eventually leaves him. To repay his debts, he joins a tuna fishing boat. During the break before the next voyage, every other crew member returns to family, but Tsuchiya has nowhere to go. He visits his former home for one last look, only to become dizzy and collapse as nostalgia collides with memories of happier days. By chance, the woman who finds and helps him is Yuka, the current resident of the very house where he once lived.
