Kenji, the middle of three brothers, has always seemed like the child who needed the least attention from his mother, Toko. One spring, his older brother moves out for work, his younger brother enters a boarding school, and his father takes a distant assignment, leaving Kenji and Toko alone together. As the once-lively home falls silent, Toko struggles with loneliness. Hurt that she still seems focused on his brothers, Kenji tries to claim all of his mother’s affection for himself, drawing the two into an incestuous relationship.
