Yuji Fujiwara has endured a lifetime of bad luck, from being blamed for a broken vase as a child to losing his job over a coworker's mistake. Even at his convenience-store job, his younger adult coworker Takamiya blames him for problems caused by others. One day he returns home depressed and finds an unfamiliar woman waiting. She reveals herself as the shapeshifting slime creature that has lived with him for three months. In love with the indifferent Yuji, the creature transforms into Takamiya and seduces him to win his attention.
